शेती व्यवसाय व्यवस्थापन
शेती व्यवस्थापनाच्या दृष्टीकोनातून विचार करावयाचा झाला तर या भागात 2 गट दिसतात –
- ज्यांच्याकडे मोठ्ठ्या प्रमाणात जमीन आहे असा गट. म्हणजे 10 एकरांपासून पुढे कितीही जमीन असणारे.
- बर्‍याच जणांकडे थोडी जमीन असते असा दुसरा गट. म्हणजे काही गुंठ्यांपासून ते 2-3 एकर इतकी जमीन असणारे.
येथे आपण दुसर्‍या गटाचा विचार करणार आहोत. त्यासाठी अशी कल्पना करा की 10 जणांचा एक गृप आहे. प्रत्येकाकडे थोडीथोडी अशी सगळ्यांकडे मिळून 20 एकर जमीन आहे. या 20 एकरांचा एकत्रितपणे विचार करावयाचा झाला तर ते 10 जण एकत्रितपणे विचार करणारे हवेत. याला आपण मनुष्यबळ म्हणूया आणि सुरवात करुया.
1. प्रथम ठरवावे लागेल की एकत्र येऊन आपणाला नेमके काय करावयाचे आहे.
उत्तर – आपल्या सर्वांकडेच थोडी थोडी शेती आहे. त्यातून सध्याची परिस्थिती लक्षात घेऊन आर्थिक स्थैर्य कसे मिळविता येईल यासाठी योजना आखण्यासाठी आपण सर्व एकत्र आलो आहोत.
2. पण पुढे काय? आम्हाला अशी काही योजना आखता येत नाही.
उत्तर – त्यासाठी शेती दवाखान्यातर्फे तुम्हाला मार्गदर्शन जरूर मिळेल.
3. शेती दवाखान्यात गेल्यावर ते काय करतील?
उत्तर – प्रथम तुमच्या शारीरिक व बौद्धिक क्षमतेप्रमाणे काय प्रकारचे काम तुम्हाला करता येईल ते ठरवतील.
4. यासाठी एकदा जाऊन आले की पुरेसे आहे का?
उत्तर – नाही. तुम्हाला त्यासाठी 8 किंवा 15 दिवसांनी एकदा एक तास असे 6 महिने ते एक वर्षभर जावे लागेल.
5. पण आम्ही तर संसारी माणसे. आम्हाला एवढा वेळ देता येणे कठीण आहे.
उत्तर – खरे आहे. त्यासाठीच 20 ते 25 वयोगटातील तरूण-तरूणींनीच हे शिकणे आवश्यक आहे. त्यांच्या बरोबर तुमच्यासारख्या अनुभवी, संसाराची जबाबदारी असणार्‍यांचा सहभागही जरूरीचा आहे.

Management of Agriculture
From the standpoint of management, farmers in this area can be divided in 2 groups.
- Big landowners – Those who have minimum 10 acres or more land.
- Small landowners – Those who have few gunthas to 2-3 aces of land.
Number of small landowners is huge. Therefore, we will consider this group. For the sake of understanding let us presume that we have a group of 10 farmers. Together they are the owners of 20 aces of land. If we are going to plan cultivation in these 20 acres, it is necessary that these 10 farmers have to work as a unit. We will call it as human resources and start planning.
- Question – What are we going to do by assembling and forming a group?
Ans. Each one of you have a small piece of land. Taking into consideration the changing circumstances we have to design an operationally effective plan to achieve financial stability in next few years.
2. Question – We do not know how to plan.
Ans. We can guide you. You have to visit “Plant Clinic” with prior appointment.
3. Question – Do we have to carry any papers? Are there any charges?
Ans. No charges. You simply go there. Experts in the clinic will inquire about your education, and assess your abilities and capacities. They will put before you, a rough plan for further action.
4. Question – So I have to go there only once.
Ans. No. After this once a week for one hour there will be a group meeting to educate you on various aspects of farming as profession for earning livelihood. Six months to 1 year will be sufficient.
5. Question – We are family people. Many a times we do not get even 1 hour to come over there.
Ans. That is why this program will be more useful for youths between 20 to 25 years of age. Your help is necessary as you have experience in the fields.
