शेतीव्यवसाय
सध्या Inclusive Value Chain Development (VCD) म्हणजे सर्व गोष्टी लक्षात घेऊन तयार केलेली किंमत ठरविण्याची साखळी व त्यावर आधारीत पुढील संशोधनाची क्रिया व त्यावर आधारीत कार्यक्रम यावर जागतिक स्तरावर बरेच प्रयोग चालू आहेत. बाजारामधील (Market) होत जाणार्‍या बदलांना सामोरे जाण्यासाठी लहान भूधारकांनासुध्दा त्यामध्ये नाविन्यपूर्ण कल्पना (Innovations) व खेडेगावातील उत्पन्नाची साधने हे लक्षात घेऊन योजना आखाव्या लागतील.
पार्श्र्वभूमी –
असे लक्षात आले की बदलते वातावरण, कच्च्या मालाच्या पुरवठ्याला येणारे अडथळे लक्षात घेऊन त्या त्या प्रदेशातील शेतकर्‍यांनी अर्थकारण व उत्पादन यांची सांगड घातली पाहिजे. दुकानदार व गिर्‍हाईक यांच्या गरजा लक्षात घेऊन बदल घडविणे आवश्यक आहे.
असे प्रयत्न होत आहेत.परंतू त्यामध्ये नमूद करण्यासारखे यश मिळालेले दिसत नाही. लहान शेतकर्‍यांना बाजारात माल पाठवायला बरेच अडथळे आहेत.
एका बाजूला शेती संशोधनातील सरकारी संस्था शेती उत्पादन जास्त कसे येईल यावर काम करत आहेत. तर दुसरीकडे NGO म्हणजे बिनसरकारी संस्था बाजारामधील अडचणींना तोंड कसे देता येईल यासाठी योजना आखत आहेत. परंतू Holistic म्हणजे सर्वांगाने विचार करून या साखळीमधील सर्व अंगांचा विचार करणे जरूरीचे आहे.
- संशोधन व नाविन्यपूर्ण कल्पना – नवीन ज्ञानाचा उपयोग करून नावीन्यपूर्ण कल्पना व त्याचा व्यवहारात उपयोग होतो की नाही असे प्रयोग करावे लागतील.
- परीपूर्ण साखळी : एक दृष्टीकोन – परीपूर्ण साखळी याचा अर्थ साखळी जोडणारे दलाल (Agents) व माल देणारे, सेवा देणारे (Services) जे कच्च्या मालातून गिर्‍हाईकांना योग्य वाटणारा माल तयार करतात असे मूख्य घटक येतात. यामध्ये स्रियांचे प्रमाण जास्त आढळते. स्त्रिया शेती कामगार, कारखाना कामगार व किरकोळ विक्रेत्या म्हणूनही काम करतात. बराच वर्ग यामध्ये श्रमिक कामगार म्हणून असतो.
शेतीमालावर प्रक्रिया (Agro Processing) व त्यापासून उत्पादन (Products) हे उत्पन्नाचे महत्वाचे अंग आहे. यामध्ये शहरात मोठ्ठ्या कंपन्यांचा माल दिसतो. लहान व मध्यम उद्योगांना, जे खेडेगाव अथवा शहरवजा गावात आढळतात, त्यांना कच्चा माल देणार्‍यांची आर्थिक स्थिती वाढविणे व त्याबरोबर प्रक्रिया केलेला माल बाजारापर्यंत नेणे कठीण जाते. या उद्योगवर्गाने या सर्व घटकांचा त्यांच्या “संशोधन व विकास” (Research and Development) या विभागाचा विचार करणे गरजेचे आहे.
असे केल्याने काय होईल?
- लहान उद्योगांचा फायदा वाढतो आणि उत्पादनासाठी नवीन सेवामार्ग (services) मिळतात.
- घाऊक किंवा मोठ्ठया प्रमाणावर माल विकणारे (wholesale), प्रक्रिया करणारे (processing unit) यामध्ये असलेल्यांना कच्चा माल चांगला मिळतो वाहतुकीचा खर्च कमी होतो व सामाजिक स्थैर्य येते.
परिपूर्ण साखळीत लहान भूमीधारक, मजूर व लहान उद्योजक असल्याने गरिबी कमी करण्यास, स्त्रियांना मानाचे स्थान देण्यास व खेडेगावातील सामाजिक स्थैर्य राखण्यास मदत होते.

Agriculture: A business
At present, many experiments are going on at the global level on inclusive value chain development (VCD) i.e the value chain that is created considering all factors and further research activities and programs based on it. Small landholders should develop different plans, by using innovative ideas and considering sources of income in village, to face the changes taking place in the market.
Background –
It was realized that the farmers of that region should combine economics and production keeping in mind the changing environment, constraints in the supply of raw materials. Changes need to be made keeping in mind the needs of shopkeepers and shoppers. Such efforts have been taking place. But in these farmers are not getting remarkable success. Small farmers have many barriers in selling their products in the market.
On the one hand government agriculture research institutes are working to improve agricultural production, on the other hand different NGOs means non-government institutions are making different schemes to face the different obstacles of the market. But here, holistic approach is important.
It is important to think holistically and consider all the factors in this chain.
- Research and innovative ideas –
We have to carry out different experiments, to check helpfulness of new information and innovative ideas in day-to-day life.
2. A complete chain: An approach –
A complete chain means persons joining different factors of chain, such as agents, raw material suppliers, service providers these people are making different goods by using raw material as per demand of the customer. It is found that, the proportion of women is more in this chain. Women are working in the field and factory, and also work as local seller. Majority of the people in this chain are workers.
Producing different products by processing agricultural raw material is the main part of the income. It includes goods from big companies in the city. Small and medium entrepreneur, who are living in small village or small city, faces problems in improving economical condition of raw material suppliers and in transportation of goods to the market. It is important that, all entrepreneur should think over all these factors in their ‘Research and development’ department.
What will happen after doing this?
- Profit of small entrepreneur increases and they get new services for production.
- It reduces transport cost; wholesalers get good raw material and develops social stability.
A complete chain includes small land holders, workers and small entrepreneur, therefore it helps in reducing poverty, it gives women an honourable place in the society and also helps in maintaining the social stability in the village.
